This 1935 Park Hill home had been carefully preserved, and the studio's approach centered on honoring its original character while supporting the needs of a family of six. Deep, saturated colors complement warm wood tones, brass hardware, and worn leather, giving the home a sense of old-world substance without ever feeling formal or too precious.

Bridgehouse Studio reworked circulation and introduced additional storage while maintaining the integrity of existing architectural details. Quarter-sawn oak cabinetry was stained to match original woodwork, while custom millwork, a Tudor-inspired hood, recreated tile patterns, and salvaged original elements all reinforce the home's architectural language. The house's grandeur was never about scale or spectacle, but about proportion and material; qualities that restoration and reinvention were careful to preserve rather than overwrite.
