This 1920s Spanish Revival kitchen had not been meaningfully updated in decades and required a careful, low-waste renovation that respected the home's original architecture. A vintage oil portrait - a holdover from the home's past - watches over the room, setting a tone that feels more collected than renovated.

Rather than beginning from scratch, Bridgehouse Studio worked within the existing framework - refinishing cabinetry, introducing custom solid brass hardware, and replacing countertops with locally sourced soapstone. Subtle millwork enhancements improved storage while reinforcing the home's original V-groove detailing and architecture. Sculptural wood-and-iron stools and a hanging pot rack add warmth and a bit of personality to the everyday rhythm of the space.

It's a thoughtful transformation - rooted in preservation, material integrity, and lasting utility.
