Set within a 1941 Tudor Revival, this renovation rebalanced a previously altered layout to better support modern family life and frequent entertaining. Bold, hand-painted tile threads through the home - a graphic blue backsplash in the kitchen, black-and-white florals underfoot in the primary bath, a curved shower nook wrapped in its own pattern - each one distinct, but speaking the same visual language.

The kitchen, breakfast nook, and hearth room were reconfigured to improve flow, increase light, and create a stronger connection between spaces. Traditional millwork was reintroduced throughout, paired with these tile moments and refined material updates that honor the home's architectural roots. Even the kids' spaces carry the same spirit - a built-in bunk room, tucked into a curved blue alcove, brings the same playful pattern-making down to a smaller scale.
The result is a cohesive, functional home where historic character and contemporary family life settle into a new pattern of their own.
