Set at the base of the mountains in Park City, Utah, this home had strong architectural bones but did not reflect the California clients' sensibility. Without major renovation, the studio re-envisioned the entire interior through furnishings, materials, and lighting - prioritizing restraint and cohesion. Vaulted wood-beam ceilings and a stacked stone fireplace, its niches lined with firewood, set the tone for a home built around natural materials and still moments.

A custom dining built-in, inspired by the client's Japanese heritage, brings a sense of personal history to the heart of the home, complemented by handmade tile, sculptural lighting, and minimal, textural furnishings - woven headboards, nubby wool rugs, hand-thrown ceramics. The result is a layered, tactile interior where every material and object has been chosen with care - calm on the surface, full of story underneath.
