This traditional home welcomed a newly relocated family and required a cohesive interior response that could unify existing furniture with a more established architectural language. A stone fireplace anchors the main living space, its rough texture and timber mantle grounding the room, while floor-to-ceiling windows frame views of the foothills beyond - the horizon becoming part of the room itself.

The entry, dining room, sitting room, and primary suite were each reworked with custom millwork and layered furnishings that enhance both function and the aesthetic of the home. A built-in entry bench and bespoke cabinetry bring a quiet sense of permanence, while a warm, neutral palette with touches of rust and black ties the spaces together. Throughout, material references to Craftsman and mountain architecture create continuity, resulting in a warm, grounded family home designed for everyday living.
